Stephon Tuitt is becoming a name you need to know. The Steelers defensive end was considered a steal in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Since then, he’s quietly carved out 32 career starts in three seasons, with 28 starts over the last two. In that time, Tuitt has recorded 11.5 sacks and 80 tackles. In 2016, he was leaned upon heavily after Cameron Heyward was lost for the season.

Tuitt didn’t disappoint, batting down three passes and forcing two fumbles. Following his season-high two sacks against the Cleveland Browns (shown below) he was voted the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Heading into the 2017 season, we should expect to see more of the same from Tuitt, who figures to be penciled in as the Steelers starting defensive end opposite of Heyward.
