Martavis Bryant answers questions including desire to return in 2018

Martavis Bryant addressed members of the media about his future and the team’s disappointing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game. Here’s what the wide receiver had to say.

In your opinion what changes need to be made?

Hopefully none. Hopefully [we] keep everybody and bring everybody back. We worked hard together, developed a lot of chemistry and I do not want to see that go to waste.

Do you want to be back?

Yes, of course. They stuck with me my whole process and we had a great year this year. It wasn’t the best. I didn’t play the best I could but I got better each game and look forward to next year.

Do you think you had the right pieces in here to win a championship this year?

Most definitely. We just made careless mistakes yesterday and didn’t finish.

What makes you want to come back next year after requesting a trade earlier in the season?

Just want to bring another trophy here. I just want to win. I love the guys here, I love the coaches. I do not feel like starting that chemistry all over again when you go to another team.

How would you like to see your role evolve in the offense?

I have no control in that. All I can do is get better in the offseason. Come back in OTA’s and show them that I deserve it. It’s a long offseason and have a lot of work to do. The work will be done and I’ll be better next year.
