Bold Predictions: Steelers vs. Giants

Someone give me a high five!

Okay, don’t. I’ll give one to myself… because, I’m doing pretty darn good with these predictions.

Okay, so I didn’t get them all correct, but I’m getting the most important ones (the Steelers won the last two weeks!)

This time I’m back with some bold predictions (emphasized in bold type) for the Steelers upcoming game against the Giants. Let’s see how my track record holds up!

Ben = no turnovers

Man, Ben has been soooo good over the last few games. He has thrown no interceptions over the last three games, and I expect that to continue, at home, this Sunday.

Janoris Jenkins throws a tantrum

He went off about his inability to cover a guy who wasn’t even in the NFL, and at that, wasn’t even a wide receiver until this season (that would be the Browns’ Terrelle Pryor).

What’s Jenkins going to do when he has to attempt to cover Antonio Brown?

Odell Beckham Jr. also throws a tantrum

Another player capable of losing his mind, I believe Mike Mitchell is going to rock his world worse than T.Y. Hilton got rocked on Thanksgiving.

And he’ll also go ballistic in the process.

Artie Burns elicits that “doh” look from Eli Manning

Ever watch Eli look dumbfounded after a play? Well, that’s about to happen when Burns gets his third pick of the season off of the seasoned Giants QB!

Defense holds Giants to 20

That’s correct folks. The Steelers defense will bend but not break once again. They’re the top D in the redzone, so I expect them to continue the very trend they started last season, by not allowing teams to score.

Sammie Coates goes over 100

I predict Coates not only returns to the regular starting lineup, but torches the Giants secondary on 5-6 receptions, going over a buck for the game.

Bell rings up 150

Le’Veon Bell will go over a buck-fifty for the game.

Why?

Because I really wanted to say a “buck-fifty” after predicting Coates’ stats! (And I think Bell is a force to be reckoned with!)

Chris Boswell is good from 50

Oh this is such a hunch, but I want to see Boz get one from 50 on his home turf. Easier said than done, but I’m still irked that Dallas’ kicker Dan Bailey did it.
