Watch: Antonio Brown catches two touchdowns despite pass interference

Steel City Underground will pick a play of the game from each side of the ball each week of the Steelers 2017 season. Stay tuned as we hand select the very best from the black and gold!

I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times, and I’ll probably say it a million times more: Antonio Brown is half-man, half-amazing.

The Steelers wide receiver, playing in his first action in roughly a month, was thought to not be 100% heading into last Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

If he wasn’t 100%, I’d dare say he was 1000%. A player many felt could be league MVP before an injury took away two and a half games of playing time from him, Brown was up against the league’s best cornerback duo in Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. That didn’t seem to phase AB, who on two different touchdown plays, was grabbed, held, and otherwise harassed, yet still came down with incredible catches for scores.

Down 21-0, the Steelers needed a spark. Brown would provide one with the Steelers first points on a 23-yard connection from QB Ben Roethlisberger, despite having his arm held by Bouye.

The second of Antonio’s touchdowns on the day came from a desperation heave from Big Ben on a 4th-and-5 from the Jacksonville 43. With both players being known for the uncanny rapport, it showed on this play, where the receiver is once again grabbed by Bouye.

Sadly, these efforts will mostly go unnoticed and forgotten as the Steelers dropped a disappointing loss at home 45-42, taking an early exit from the NFL playoffs.
