Watch: “Ooh La La” as “Ola” gets a strip sack

Steel City Underground will pick a play of the game from each side of the ball each week of the Steelers 2018 season. Stay tuned as we hand select the very best from the black and gold!

With a final opportunity to impress coaches in the fourth preseason game, many players are fighting for their professional football lives in order to make the final 53-man roster.

In danger of being cut, these players on the bottom half of the roster are battling for what may be a handful or less of available spots. Pittsburgh Steelers LB Olasunkanmi Adeniyi is one of those players, signed by the team after going undrafted from the University of Toledo. Showing the ability to rush passers early in training camp and throughout the preseason, Adenyi began to remind everyone of another undrafted player who played at an Ohio college and also wore the number 92, by registering his fourth sack of the preseason on this play in the second quarter of the game against the Carolina Panthers.

Adenyi gets around the edge and is able to swat at Panthers QB Gabbert Gilbert, jarring the football loose as its recovered by his fellow teammate Keion Adams.

Sexy “Ooh La La” plays like this don’t go unnoticed, especially when one individual is able to stack up so many of them in a short period of time with only a small amount of opportunities.
