On a sloppy Sunday afternoon battle, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns were both knotted at 0-0 as the Black and Gold needed a spark.

That spark would come from second-year running back James Conner, who was filling in as the starter in place of the disgruntled Le’Veon Bell. Receiving his first NFL career start Conner would have a successful first half against the Cleveland Browns rushing for 46 yards — this touchdown which put the Steelers up 7-0 in the second quarter capping off a ten-play 88-yard drive.

Conner would finish the day with 135 yards rushing and two touchdowns plus another five receptions for 57 yards.
