One of the few highlights of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night was a throw that Antonio Brown has been wanting from Ben Roethlisberger all season. After the Steelers defense forced a three-and-out for the Ravens, Roethlisberger orchestrated a five-play, 76-yard drive with just over two minutes left in the first half that was capped off by a Brown touchdown.

The drive was mainly a Vance McDonald show early as the tight end once again displayed physicality in catching passes of 11 and 33 yards respectively. On the throw to Brown that resulted in the touchdown, Roethlisberger found Brown streaking and made a perfect throw to his back shoulder. Brown was able to beat Marlon Humphrey and snag the ball over the top for the score. Running back James Conner would go on to convert the two-point try.

While Brown and Roethlisberger weren’t always on the same page during the game, the touchdown catch was Brown’s third of 2018, increasing his career total to 62 – just one touchdown catch from tying John Stallworth for second-most in team history and made Brown the only NFL player to have at least 5,000 receiving yards in home games since 2010 (5,280) per Dom Rinelli (Steelers.com)
