If there was any doubt as to whether Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown had finally synced their connections after a big game against the Atlanta Falcons, it was put to bed when the duo had another great performance over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Crank up the wifi because Ben to AB is back, baby!

Both Roethlisberger and Brown had big games, but they really put a stamp on things Sunday with just 1:18 remaining in the game. Joe Mixon had just run a touchdown in to give the Bengals a one-point lead once the PAT was successful. So, it’s 21-20 and the Steelers are down. But, did Cincinnati leave too much time on the clock?

The answer would be, yes.

Roethlisberger went to work and hit JuJu Smith-Schuster on a ten-yard pass that converted a crucial third down and then found him again, on a 19-yard pass-and-catch to earn a first down that placed the Steelers offense at the Bengals’ 31-yard line. On the next play from scrimmage, Roethlisberger found Brown streaking across the middle of the field and hit the receiver on a quick slant. Brown split the Bengals defenders and turned on the jets to race into the end zone for a touchdown with just ten seconds left in the game. After a successful two-point conversion, the Steelers were up 28-21 and gave the Bengals no opportunity to get a miracle play down the field.

What better way to defeat the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium than a pass from Big Ben to AB as the two continue to show why they’re one of the best QB/WR duos in the NFL?
