The Steelers finally overcame the shadow of the New England Patriots on Sunday with a hard-fought and tight 14-10 victory.

However, it didn’t come easy. In the waning moments of the game, Tom Brady and the Patriots still threatened to continue to be a thorn in the Steelers side. Following several incompletions and a penalty, however, Brady and company found themselves in an unfavorable fourth down position.

Hurling the ball for a Hail Mary miracle of sorts, Brady tried to find his typically reliable target, Julian Edelman, but was denied the opportunity when Steelers DB Morgan Burnett redeemed himself for last week’s poor effort with possibly the play of the game, as he bats Brady’s would-be attempt to the ground, forcing a turnover on downs and allowing the Steelers to simply run out the clock for their first win over New England since 2011.
