It’s Valentine’s Day Steelers Nation and love is in the air!
Now, I know all of yinz love your football. You love your Steelers too. But which of those Steelers is the one you love the most?

I suppose I’m faithful this Valentine’s Day because Vance was my pick last year too!
When the Steelers traded for Vance I had high hopes that he’d be the team’s best tight end since Heath Miller retired. (No offense to Jesse James, who is a different style of player.)
“The Mac Truck” as I like to call him started running over opponents in 2018 and consequently ran into the hearts of Steelers Nation. I “heart” him so much!

JuJu is my pick because his personality is so bubbly… and we’re both the young guys on the squad!

Honestly, I had to set Jaylen Samuels aside (although my heart could be his if he has a bigger 2019) in favor of Ryan Switzer.
Typically, I’d be drawn to the defense (because who doesn’t love good Steelers defense), but “Switz” came in and gave me less concerns for the return game and was a happy surprise as a receiver and a back.
Plus, fans of his former teams thought he was ‘washed up’. Their loss, my gain! My heart is full.
Zach Metkler
David DeCastro
As a lover of all things offensive line, there aren’t many that can do what DeCastro can do up front. He has been a large part of why Ben Roethlisberger has stayed off of the ground and is one of the key cogs on the offensive line that allows James Conner and Jaylen Samuels produce the numbers they do.
He epitomizes everything any team (but particularly the Steelers) wants in an offensive lineman: smart, strong, athletic, and gritty.
Guard is never a sexy position in the NFL, but ask any team with issues with their interior. They would give anything to have a player like DeCastro. I’m just thankful he plays for the good guys.

Villanueva is my pick because he is a military vet, one of the most likable guys on the team, and has “his teammates backs”… and along with his coach’s back, no matter what.
He inspires us to be better. I love Big Al!

My love goes out to Cam Heyward. Pittsburgh has been toying with my heart for years – but there has always been at least one constant, and thats Cam Heyward. Cam isn’t holding out or flexing all over instagram. The most exposure he gets are his local UPMC commercials. No, Cam Heyward just hits field and plays ball and I love him for that.

Most “in love?” No question…Juju. He makes me smile, laugh, cry and shake my head. He’s funny, charismatic, cute as a puppy and a talented WR. What more could you ask for?

My Steelers Valentine’s Day is T.J. Watt. When the future looks bleak at times, T.J. is a guy that will one day the leader of this Steelers team and a veteran guy that will bring some good times to the Steelers. For a guy who has barely played his position, he keeps getting better and better every season, and he’s living up to the “Watt” name. I :heart: the future with T.J. on the defense!
