You get the picture. So where are some good places for good eats in the ‘Burgh? Here are some of our suggestions.

Pictured above, the Primanti Brothers’ world famous sandwiches are as ingrained in the city’s lore as pierogies. The original location is settled within the Strip District and is a small diner with a long, but usually fast-moving line. You can also try one of their other locations, which also have other bar-style foods on the menu.
Jerome Bettis Grille
Nestled on the North Shore between PNC Park and Heinz Field, the Bettis Grille is a Steeler fan’s dream diner, complete with Pittsburgh themed dishes and decor. Fair warning: game days are not a good time to go, as the restaurant is jam-packed with people!
Still relatively an unknown among Pittsburgh eateries, Burgatory is a gourmet burger joint featuring everything from high quality beef and turkey to various breads and toppings. Burgatory also features a rotating craft beer selection, and handmade milkshakes to help wash down your sandwich. Various locations can be found around the city, including Robinson Township and the Consol Energy Center.
Mount Washington Restaurants
If sandwiches and bar food aren’t your forte, several four-star dining locations are located on Mount Washington, including LeMont, Tin Angel and the Monterrey Bay Fish Grotto. These restaurants offer world-class dining with a scenic view of the Pittsburgh skyline. Be sure to tip your maître d’ upon arrival to secure one of these prime tables.
