Was predictability and play calling the downfall of the Steelers offense last season?

Joe flies solo on this edition of the Steel City Underground Podcast to discuss the flavor of the week making rounds on Steelers social media: the amount of times Ben Roethlisberger was in shotgun formation.

Believe it or not, the numbers lend to a trend from around the league that isn’t too unusual. However, the downfall of the Steelers offense in 2020 shouldn’t be pinpointed to to a single formation, or even a look (such as “jet motion”) rather some predictable play calling that’s backed up by analytics, but also seen with the naked eye.
