SCU Madden Sim: Week 10 – Steelers vs. Cowboys

Coming off a disappointing loss, the Steelers are looking to rebound this week versus the Cowboys. If our simulation is anything like real life, then the Steelers will accomplish that goal.

There were a lot of big plays this week, so lets break them down!

Highlights

Ben To Brown Connection

Arguably the greatest duo in the NFL, the Ben Roethlisberger/Antonio Brown connection is real. Brown may be having a “down” season, but there are a lot of players who would kill to have the equivalent to Brown’s “down” season. A Brown touchdown is almost guaranteed every week.

Moats Capitalizes On Rookie Mistake

Dak Prescott may be have a great season, but he’s still a rookie. He will make mistakes and it’s important that the Steelers capitalize on them. He’s only thrown one interception this year, but he’s bound to throw another.

The Ferrari Is Out Of The Garage

If Ladarius Green makes his season debut this week, expectations will be high for him. The Steelers are still waiting for a consistent #2 receiving option to step up, and Green may certainly be that guy.

Shazier Keeps Making Plays

Anytime Ryan Shazier is healthy, he’s capable of making plays on the field. Last week we saw him force a fumble versus the Ravens, this week the Steelers will need him to make plays once again.

Bell Breaks Loose

Last week Le’Veon Bell disappointed, but with Ben not at 100% the Steelers offense became one dimensional. With Ben presumably healthy, the offense should regain its balance and Bell should return to dominant form.

Green Converts On 4th Down

Green again. Part of Green’s appeal is his potential as a red zone weapon. At 6’6″, Green provides Ben a big target that he surely come to love.

Green With The Game-Winning TD

Yes, again. It’ll be pretty exciting if Green has a game anywhere close to this simulation!
