Plays of the Year: Landry Jones game-winning TD pass in OT

Steel City Underground presents “Plays of the Year” featuring the tops runs, catches, hits and everything else in-between for the Steelers 2016 season.

If this article were a day earlier, and maybe a year earlier, you might think it’s an April Fools’ Day joke.

But its not.

With a postseason appearance already in the bag, the Pittsburgh Steelers would sit a number of starters in the final regular season game of the 2016 season.

Among the starters out included QB Ben Roethlisberger and WR Antonio Brown. In their place were little-regarded replacements QB Landry Jones and WR Cobi Hamilton. However, football fans would get to know both of their names as Pittsburgh pressed on into overtime, denying Cleveland the second win of their miserable season with this game-winning play.
