Watch: Steelers go-ahead on Rudolph to Washington TD before halftime

Down 7-3 with less than two minutes left before halftime, Steelers backup quarterback Mason Rudolph showed his prowess for a quick, timing play by waiting for his former college teammate James Washington to connect with a back-shoulder pass for a touchdown.

The play happened with such precision that those in attendance weren’t even sure that the score stood: but the sure-handed receiver’s catcher’s mitts for hands hauled in the pass for six.

The Steelers would go on to win the preseason match up 30-28.
