Everyone loves the shiny new toy until it’s no longer fun to play with.

That’s the current theme coming out of Steelers Nation to start the New Year, as fans are forgetting about the Steelers quarterback situation actually being a fairly good one!

With as many as five passers under contract, including a future Hall of Famer in Ben Roethlisberger, some fans are still clamoring for a big free agent acquisition or drafting a college prospect.

Joe Kuzma and Brian E. Roach explain why this thought process is a bad idea and even if the Steelers were to have a rough go of it, with or without Roethlisberger playing in the near future, it’s because of Big Ben that the team is still setup for future success.
