A rather mundane game had some fireworks near the end of the first half on Thursday night when Steelers QB Mason Rudolph was the recipient of the defense getting a turnover and giving the, and the Steelers offense, new life before the expiration of the second quarter.

On their very first play, Rudolph steps back and unleashes a deep ball, connecting with WR Johnny Holton for a touchdown.

The play would count for 31 yards and six points, but Matthew Wright would miss the following PAT, leaving the score at Steelers 16, Panthers 10.

Ultimately, Pittsburgh would lose by a final score of 25 to 19.
