In what is no surprise here, the panel overwhelmingly likes the Steelers as the odds-on favorite to be the first seed with home field advantage in the AFC.
Nearly everyone thinks Arizona is overhyped, though in our predictions piece, there were several reasons why many felt the Cardinals wouldn’t even win their division (mostly the play/health of an aging Carson Palmer.)
The panel unanimously selected the Panthers and Patriots to finish second in their conferences, playing against weak division opponents.
The most interesting picks include the Vikings still squeaking into the postseason without Teddy Bridgewater, and the debate as to if the Colts or Texans win the South, and if another AFC North team can also squeeze into the playoff picture.
