Steelers GameDay Cheat Sheet: Week 8 vs. the Cleveland Browns
Steelers GameDay Cheat Sheet is a weekly series featuring a quick glance at the upcoming Steelers game, including odds, records, things to watch for, and how to watch/listen to the game.
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) vs. Cleveland Browns (5-2)
The Pittsburgh Steelers return to Acrisure Stadium on Sunday looking to extend their three-game winning streak and avenge an earlier loss to the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh improved to 5-2 following a 16-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Paris, while Cleveland enters the rematch with an identical record after defeating the Tennessee Titans 27-24.
The Steelers have shown improvement in several areas since their 27-24 loss to Cleveland in Week 4, particularly along the line of scrimmage. Jaylen Warren continues to provide a spark for the offense, while Pittsburgh’s defense has been among the league’s best at limiting opposing teams on the scoreboard. However, the Steelers still need to find more consistency finishing drives and protecting Aaron Rodgers.
Cleveland presents another difficult AFC North challenge. The Browns have struggled offensively, ranking near the bottom of the league in scoring and third-down conversions, but their defense has been effective against the pass. Deshaun Watson also enjoyed success against Pittsburgh in the first meeting, and the Steelers will need to prevent another strong performance from the Browns quarterback.
Pittsburgh has historically enjoyed a significant home-field advantage in this rivalry, winning 24 of its previous 25 regular-season home meetings with Cleveland. The Steelers will look to continue that success before entering their Week 9 bye.
This preview breaks down the key stats and notes for Sunday’s matchup, along with where you can watch and listen to the game.

Steelers look for revenge against Browns before the bye
The Pittsburgh Steelers are riding a three-game winning streak, but their next challenge comes against a familiar opponent that already handed them a loss this season.
Joe Kuzma and Brian Roach preview Sunday’s AFC North rematch with the Cleveland Browns as both teams enter Week 8 with identical 5-2 records. The duo revisits Pittsburgh’s Week 4 loss in Cleveland, examines what’s improved during the Steelers’ recent winning streak, and discusses the key matchups that could determine the outcome.
Can Pittsburgh’s improving offensive line and running game continue building momentum? Will T.J. Watt and the Steelers defense take advantage of Cleveland’s pass protection struggles? And can Aaron Rodgers and the offense finish drives instead of letting another game come down to the wire?
Plus, players to watch, keys to victory, and predictions as the Steelers look to get revenge and enter their bye week at 6-2.
